Reception visit the Natural History Museum
Last week our Reception classes went to visit the Natural History Museum in Tring. They enjoyed handling museum artefacts associated with Arctic and Antarctic animals, including a penguin flipper, the skull of a polar bear and a whale’s tooth. They then spent some time looking around the Rothschild Collection, which is housed at the museum. The children were enthralled by the wide range of animals they encountered, but the miniscule dressed fleas were the highlight for many!
