Spotted in Pre-Prep, a giant python
Wednesday 25th May was not just another ordinary day at school for the Year 1 children, as they had some very interesting early morning visitors. Safari Stu arrived with a giant python, a skunk, a chameleon, cockroaches, stick insects, corn snakes, a lesser tenrec, a scorpion and a chuckwalla lizard. This was to support the childrens' class topic work on the rainforest and it proved to be a wonderfully informative experience for everyone. The children (and staff!) had the chance to touch and hold the creatures and everyone was very brave indeed.......even when the giant python and tarantula appeared!
