Year 5 visit Peak District
Last week Year 5 spent an action packed four days in the Peak District. With the weather on their side, they ventured high and low - from exploring the depths of Poole’s Cavern, to conquering the 8.5km Mam Tor walk. One of the highlights was rock climbing and weaseling at Black Rocks Country Park, and orienteering that involved trying to catch site of the ‘elusive wild boar.’ The trip ended with a cycle ride along part of the Tissington Trail, a disused railway line. A great time was had by all.
