Alumna Becca Scott Returns to Kingshott

We were delighted to welcome back former pupil and para-athlete Becca Scott, who returned despite a busy national training and competition schedule.

Becca reflected on her time at Kingshott, highlighting the encouragement, friendships and skills—resilience, perseverance and a love of competition—that continue to shape her career.

She has achieved notable national success, winning silver in the Para Long Jump and 100m at the National School Games, and bronze in the Women’s 60m Para Sprint at the UK Athletics Indoor Championships, with a personal best of 8.49 seconds.

Becca has also been selected for elite talent pathways, including the GB Para Athletics Programme, supporting her development in sprinting and long jump.

She spoke about balancing study and training, encouraging pupils to work hard and believe in themselves. Her warmth and humility made her an inspiring role model.

We are proud of Becca’s achievements and grateful for her continued connection to Kingshott.
