About Us

This is not just a school...

What is the Kingshott difference?

As an ambitious, forward-thinking school, Kingshott ensures every child is truly known, supported, and challenged, recognising and developing each pupil’s unique character and individual approach to learning.

Kingshott offers exceptional learning environments, complemented by a talented and dedicated team of teachers across a broad range of subjects. Our staff are committed to supporting and inspiring every child to achieve their full potential at every stage of their education.

We empower pupils to succeed in all areas of school life, whether academic achievement, sport, the arts, or wider co-curricular opportunities. Every child leaves Kingshott confident, well-rounded, and prepared both intellectually and socially for life beyond GCSEs, supported in making informed choices and ready to thrive on whichever path they choose.

Kingshott and Beyond

Parents choose Kingshott because it combines high quality teaching, exceptional facilities and a deeply caring ethos, preparing pupils not only for academic success, but for confident, happy futures.

We ensure our pupils are future-ready by supporting them every step of the way to discover their voice, passions, talents, and interests, while at school and preparing them for life beyond GCSEs, including opportunities within the Mill Hill Education Group pathway and beyond.

I feel known and supported, and my teachers always encourage me to aim high and believe in what I can achieve. I’m challenged in lessons and have so many opportunities to try ambitious new things, whether that’s British Young Pilots, martial arts, being part of the eco committee, or sharing my ideas through pupil voice. All of this helps me build confidence, independence, and transferable skills, alongside strong academic learning, so I’m ready for whatever comes next.

Sport is a huge part of my school life, and there’s always a chance to get involved, improve, and feel part of a team. I’ve loved taking part in matches, trying new activities, and going on amazing trips and residentials, like travelling to Spain, which build my confidence and independence beyond the classroom. These experiences make learning exciting and help me develop teamwork, resilience, and friendships that will stay with me for life.

I love all the creative opportunities we have to express ourselves and build our confidence. I can take part in music, LAMDA, drama, art and dance, where we’re encouraged to be imaginative, perform, and develop our own style. Whether it’s performing on stage, creating artwork, or working towards LAMDA exams, I’m always supported to challenge myself and try something new. These experiences help me grow in creativity, confidence, and self-expression, as well as giving me skills I’ll use throughout my life.
