Year 8 study great speeches
Year 8 students at Kingshott have been studying great speeches from around the world.
This week, they presented their well-researched, expertly written and passionately delivered speeches to their teachers and class mates. Their title was “All homework should be abolished”, which probably explains why some of them were quite so passionate! The irony of having been set this speech as a homework activity did not elude them, but their speeches were so persuasive that they were rewarded with a week off homework next week!
