Travelling to Kingshott

Kingshott School is perfectly located on the outskirts of Hitchin, set within a beautiful 23-acre site.

We are easily accessible by car, just a few minutes from the A1(M), with ample car parking and convenient drop-off points for busy parents.

Our new shuttle bus service runs daily from Hitchin station, making it easy for Senior School students to travel to and from school by train. Hitchin station is exceptionally well connected, serving many towns across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Cambridgeshire.

Students can book the shuttle bus for just £2 per journey. This service is run by our own staff using school minibuses, with the following schedule:

• Morning pick-up from Hitchin station: 07:45 (bus arrives, students may board) to 08:00 (bus departs)

• Early afternoon drop-off at Hitchin station: circa 16:30 (leaves Kingshott at 16:15, following the end of school at 16:00)

• Late afternoon drop-off at Hitchin station: circa 17:45 (leaves Kingshott at 17:30)
