      About:

      David was educated at St Columba's College in St. Albans and then went on to Oxford Brookes University where he was awarded a degree in English and Sociology. He completed the Graduate Teaching Programme through a Teaching Alliance in North Bedfordshire. David began his teaching career locally at Lordship Farm School but after two years moved to London and began teaching at St Joseph's in Rotherhithe, South-East London. Moving quickly on to the senior leadership team and working as Senco he then became Deputy Head of St Joseph's in 2016.
      David is a keen runner and is on the committee of a successful local running club. In addition having played rugby for many years he now enjoys watching from the side of the pitch when possible. David knows that a happy and secure child will have the best possible learning opportunities and always strives to make a safe, fun and secure learning environment for all children.

      Qualifications:BA (Hons), PGCE, OCR Level Five in SpLD
      About:

      Fiona has a degree in English and American Literature from the University of East Anglia and a PGCE from the University of Exeter. She lived in the USA for a year and worked in schools whilst there. She has worked in Tower Hamlets and at Killigrew School in St Albans, where she was SENCo and English Co-ordinator. She joined Kingshott's Learning Support Department in 2009, after a career break to raise her family.
      Fiona enjoys reading and Pilates, as well as spending time with her two children and dog.
      She believes that every child should be encouraged to reach their full potential and feel proud of their achievements; a happy child makes a receptive learner.

      About:

      Mrs Garofalo has over 25 years educational experience. Previously Mrs Garofalo led St Joseph's Primary in Rotherhithe, London. 11 years as Deputy Head and then six years as Headteacher. Prior to this she spent five years on the SLT and held the role of Head of Assessment at St John's Primary in Gravesend, Kent, along with working in both St Joseph's Convent Prep School and St Joseph's Primary Northfleet.

      About:

      A Chartered Accountant who trained and qualified with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Jude spent many of her pre children days working for PWC in the UK and then in their Sydney office. After leaving PWC she has assumed various Senior Finance roles in industry. Her decision to join Kingshott stemmed from wanting to make a difference to the school and helping to put plans in place for the school's future. Jude is married to an English teacher and they have two children.

      Designated Senior Person for Safeguarding and Head of Pastoral & Wellbeing

      About:

      Rhian is based in 'the Hub' in the Oakfield Building. She lives locally, is married and has 3 children at university and one to complete her GCSE and go on to A levels. She has worked with children of all ages from nursery to secondary, and also with high risk and vulnerable children, including those with physical and neurological disabilities. Her previous roles required provision in all areas of support, including well being and pastoral.
      Rhian has counselling experience and has completed her level 2 counselling qualification. Rhian is also the Mental Health lead for the school under MHFA England.
      The role of pastoral care and well being in schools has been increasing for some time, and Kingshott is keen to make their support even more effective.
