Joining Kingshott at 13+
We are now delighted to welcome students into Year 9 via two distinct pathways:
13+ Entry Pathway (for pupils currently in Year 8)
Families wishing to join Kingshott in Year 9 may do so, subject to availability, by taking part in our Assessment Morning in January prior to the September of entry. Pupils are also encouraged to apply for our Year 9 Scholarships.
This pathway is particularly suited to pupils in prep schools who have not already secured a guaranteed place via Deferred Entry, or who are reconsidering their options and seeking an independent school that better meets their needs. Year 9 entry is also ideal for pupils in state schools who wish to move prior to the start of their GCSE studies.
Year 6 Deferred Entry Pathway
Families who wish to secure a 13+ (Year 9) place in advance are also able to do so. Students sit the same Assessment Morning in Year 6 as candidates applying for a Year 7 place. This takes place in the January before they move into Year 7.
Successful candidates are offered a guaranteed place at Kingshott for entry into Year 9. Parents are asked to reserve this place with a non-refundable deposit of £1,000. Students are then invited back in the January before joining to take part in our Scholarship Assessment, should they wish to apply.

Our Senior School sits at the heart of our 23-acre site. Senior School students benefit from excellent facilities in their own spacious building, while also accessing shared spaces across the site. These include our large multi-purpose sports and drama hall, swimming pool, and extensive sports pitches and grounds.
