Skiing in Andorra
On Saturday 24th March twenty two children and four Teachers set out to embark on a week of skiing in the mountains of the Pyrenees in Arinsal, Andorra. From beginners, who had never put on a pair of skis, to those who were already accomplished skiers, all the children had a wonderful week at Ski School. Each child was able to reach their own individual potential whether it be learning how to snow plough, challenging themselves to a harder run or skiing off-piste. The snow was amazing with regular snowfall topping up the slopes. The après ski entertainment entailed a quiz, a fashion show (styling bin bags and toilet rolls!) bowling, swimming and prize giving, with our three instructors. Each child was awarded a certificate for superb skiing and congratulations also goes to Olivia who was our skier of the week and the race winners from each group; Dillon, Callie and Roseanna. Huge praise must go to all the children for all their effort and progress and for being a real credit to Kingshott through their excellent behaviour. Lastly thank you to Miss Taylor and Miss Walton for organising such a wonderful, action packed and thoroughly enjoyable trip.
