Our Nursery children enjoy French lessons with Camembear!
All pupils at Kingshott enjoy weekly French lessons. For our youngest children, lessons are supported by 'Camembear', which makes learning great fun!
During this week's French lesson, Camembear told the Nursery children all about La Fête des Rois when French people celebrate the 3 kings coming to visit Baby Jesus. He brought a pretend Galette des Rois and explained that the youngest child would decide who got each piece. Whoever had the piece with a fêve on the other side would get to wear the crown and be le roi (the king) or la reine (the queen) for the whole day!
The children also wished each other ‘bonne année!’
