Dorset with the Year 7 children
The Year 7 residential trip this year was to PGL in Osmington Bay, Dorset. The journey down to Dorset was thankfully shorter this year and the children all arrived in high spirits. We were met by our ‘Group Leader’ who showed us around the massive site and where we would be staying for the week. The rooms were very comfortable and each had an en-suite bathroom. The activities started in earnest the next morning and progressed relentlessly through the week. These ranged from climbing, buggy building, raft building, first aid, orienteering, Giant Swing, Aeroball and fencing. The food was very good and plentiful and this seemed to meet with everyone’s approval. The trip was a great success and all the children seemed to enjoy themselves. They were a great group to take away on a residential and hopefully they got as much out of it as I had hoped they would.
