World Kindness Day - Kingshott support local Care Homes

It has been such a difficult year for everyone. Here at Kingshott, we are enjoying having the children back at school and some sense of normality but understand that life is still so very difficult for many people, especially during this second lockdown period.

Today is World Kindness Day. World Kindness Day is a global day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. This day, celebrated on the 13th of November each year, has the purpose of helping everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. This is something that is very important to us here at Kingshott. We wanted to help celebrate the day by making and sending some cheery messages to the residents of some of our local Care Homes who are perhaps finding things very tough at the moment.

The whole school have made cards, poems, letters and pictures which have been split 5 ways between 5 of our local homes to let them know we are thinking of them.

The messages have been put into Kinghsott bags and will be delivered soon.
