Townsend -Warner History Prize
The Townsend - Warner History Prize is a prestigious national competition for older Prep school pupils. This year, eleven Kingshott pupils have volunteered to take part, seven from Year 7 and four from Year 8. The competition is set at a distinctly high level and reaching the second round (there are two rounds) is an achievement in itself. The first round, which took place this afternoon, tested not only our pupils’ general knowledge of history but also focused on their expertise in ancient, medieval and modern history across a wide geographical area. We wish all of our entrants good luck and look forward to hearing their results.
