Walk for Luke

Luke Hobson was a pupil at Kingshott before moving on to Senior School in September 2018. If any of our families past or present would like to get involved or could make a donation it would be very much appreciated.

Walk for Luke

Luke lost his life on 28 March 2019, following a tragic accident at a hockey training session. On the 2 year anniversary of his death, Blueharts will be walking or running 2 miles (or more) to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), who played such an important role in getting Luke to hospital on the night of the accident.

As well as raising valuable funds for EAAA, the event will be an opportunity for members to take time to remember Luke and reflect, whilst being together in spirit.

We are encouraging members of all ages and their families to get involved - wearing your Blueharts kit and sharing photographs on the way.

Please remember to adhere to social distancing rules, only exercising with your family/bubble or as pairs from different households. Hopefully you will see other Blueharts taking part on your walk – please remember not to congregate in groups.

We are suggesting that those taking part donate the equivalent of a match fee, or whatever you can afford via www.justgiving.com/fundraising/bluehartstogether

Or you can text ‘LUKE’ to 70085 to donate £5 (this costs £5 plus a standard rate message).

If you'd like to take part, we'd love you to share your pictures along the way, via social media using the hashtags #blueharts and #walkforluke or you can email them to bluehartscomms@gmail.com.

Thank you
