It's been busy in Year 3!
On Monday this week, Year 3 performed to the entire school and their parents in their assembly. The assembly was about their understanding and knowledge they have acquired this term when learning about ancient Egypt. They sang, danced, performed and told interesting facts which the audience found simultaneously interesting and amusing!
On Tuesday Year 3 spent the afternoon at Hitchin Lavender Farm. After a delicious picnic lunch, they explored all that the farm has to offer including learning about re-wilding, lavender produce and the medicinal qualities thereof. The recent weather meant that the lavender was two weeks ahead of its usual flowering cycle so our timing was perfect. We wholeheartedly thank Mr and Mrs Hunter for once again spoiling us!
