Just A Minute - our annual speaking and listening competition!
BBC Radio 4's 'Just A Minute' provided the inspiration for our annual speaking and listening competition this week. Every child in years 3-8 practised attempting to speak for a minute on a random topic without repetition, hesitation nor deviation. Class competitions provided much hilarity as bells were rung, fairly or otherwise, to try to score as many points as possible against their opponents.
The finalists from each class were invited to year group championships, which took place in the sports hall in front of audiences of supporters and spectators.
Congratulations to all the brave and quick-witted finalists!
