Year 5's Incredible Inventions
Historical inventions came to life as part of Year 5's 'Incredible Inventions' History project!
Pupils in Year 5 were challenged with an interesting project to independently research a Victorian invention. They then created a model of the invention, or a presentation board, which they presented to the rest of the class as an 'expert' on their invention.
The outcomes were spectacular, as were the presentations. The whole project brilliantly showcases the way learning comes to life at Kingshott - where independent research skills are encouraged, along with public speaking and creativity. The entire class not only learnt a vast amount about a range of different Victorian inventions, they also reinforced their knowledge and skills on how to undertake research and presentations too.
