Pancake Relay Fun at Kingshott
The first ever Pancake Relay brought a brilliant mix of energy, competition and plenty of laughter to Kingshott.
The races were fast, the flips were bold, and the winning team crossed the finish line almost a full length ahead, an impressive triumph in what was a very closely fought set of heats.
A big thank you goes to our Year 10 mentors, who did a fantastic job timing, adjudicating and keeping a close eye on both flipping technique and enthusiastic participation. Their help meant the whole event ran smoothly, even when the pancakes didn’t always behave quite as planned!
The noise was incredible. In true Kingshott style, the cheering and encouragement from supporters was every bit as energetic as the efforts of those sprinting up and down with frying pans in hand.
It’s this mix of friendly rivalry and wholehearted support that makes the Pancake Relay such a loved school tradition.
And finally, thank you to Mr Lewis for organising and hosting this wonderfully fun event.
Well done to everyone who flipped, ran, cheered and laughed their way through another memorable Kingshott event.
