Languages careers talk for Years 7-8 pupils
This term, pupils in Year 7 and 8 at Kingshott have enjoyed listening to a visiting speaker - Mr Rob Hunt - about the benefits of studying languages and the career options that are available to pupils who choose to study languages at University and beyond.
The pupils were enthralled by Mr Hunt, who described his work as a translator and interpreter in detail. They were able to see the applicability of learning a language when he shared information about this time working for the UN, and as an interpreter for Premier League footballers.
This is just one of the many experiences pupils at Kingshott can enjoy - from visiting speakers to activities and workshops. All of which are focused on bringing learning to life, and further broadening the horizons of our pupils.
