ISA National Finals

ISA National Finals – A Celebration of Excellence

On Friday, a group of our talented swimmers represented Kingshott at the ISA National Finals held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford. We are incredibly proud of every child who competed: Barney, Arthur, Penelope, Abigail, Joshua, Charlie, Dillan, and Archie.

Qualifying for an event of this standard is an achievement in itself, and they demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience, and determination throughout the entire journey. From early morning starts to tough training sessions, they worked tirelessly to reach this level. Their effort, mindset, and willingness to push beyond their comfort zones did not go unnoticed. It takes real character to step up on a national stage regardless of whether a medal is won and every one of them showed the courage and professionalism of true athletes.

What they have achieved is far greater than a medal alone. They have gained invaluable experience, developed stronger racing skills, learnt how to perform under pressure, and showed sportsmanship and support for their peers. These qualities will shape them into stronger swimmers and even better people as they continue their aquatic journey.

We are genuinely honoured to coach such a dedicated group of young athletes. Their attitudes, teamwork, and drive to improve make both us and the school proud every single day. They should take time to recognise what they have accomplished, not just at Nationals but throughout the entire term that led them there.

A huge thank you also goes to Ms Neaves, Mrs Whittaker, and Mrs Martin for their incredible support, as well as to the families whose encouragement made this opportunity possible.

We look forward to building on this momentum, aiming even higher next year, and watching each of them continue to thrive and grow both in and out of the pool.

Well done, team you should be incredibly proud of yourselves!
