The Science department recently took Year 7 students to the STEM Discovery Centre in Stevenage for a space-themed trip. It was a great opportunity to bring their learning to life beyond the classroom.

Students took part in a range of hands-on activities, including building and testing slingshot rockets and drawing scale models of the Solar System. A real highlight was seeing Mars rover prototypes being tested at the Airbus facility, giving them a glimpse into real space engineering. The students were enthusiastic throughout and represented the school brilliantly.
