On Saturday 13^th June, a group of Kingshott students and members of staff enjoyed a trip to the FiH Pro League Hockey at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.

We had a fantastic day in the sun watching the England Men’s and Women’s teams in action, and were even treated to a fly past by the aircraft celebrating the King’s birthday! England Men were victorious, comfortably beating Argentina 5-0, while the Women unfortunately lost 2-1 to Germany.

Aoife (Y6) and I were lucky to be mascots for both games and got to walk out onto the pitch with the teams to sing the national anthem.

A brilliant day out for everyone! Thank you to Miss Woodgate for organizing, and Miss Bloch, Miss Hudson, Miss Johnson, Mrs Weimann and Mrs Manning for accompanying us.
