Year 1's woodland adventures...
Our Year 1 children are learning about woodlands this term so they donned their Wellington boots and went exploring around Wymondley Woods.
They enjoyed looking at leaves and seeds to identify all the different trees. They were great at spotting and identifying all the signs of Autumn too.
Fortunately they stamped across the bridge loud enough to scare any trolls away!!
It was lovely to see them all thoroughly enjoying learning about nature, which was brilliantly summed up when one child remarked “this is such an adventure!”
