Roman Day in Year 4
Friday 20th March was an exciting and educational Roman Day for Year 4. The children had the opportunity to learn about Roman life through a range of hands-on activities. They tried on Roman armour, played Roman dice games and took part in different Roman jobs around the camp. They also investigated a variety of artefacts, helping them to better understand life in Roman times. One of the highlights of the day was learning how to march and battle in formation like real Roman soldiers. They even had the chance to sample some Roman food and learn some basic Latin.
It was a fantastic day and the children learnt a great deal while having lots of fun.
