Meet Mr Ayres

Mr Ayres is a powerhouse of sporting excellence at Kingshott.
With a career that spans the very top of elite performance, inclusion, and youth development, his expertise elevates every pupil he works with.

An elite-level Rugby and Multi-Sport Coach with over 16 years’ experience, Mr Ayres has coached within the DPP, PDG and academy pathways at some of the biggest names in the game Saracens, Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers. He knows exactly what high performance looks like and how to nurture it in young athletes.

His influence reaches the international stage as a National Junior Manager for Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby, underlining his commitment to excellence, inclusivity and opportunity for all. This ethos was central to his time as an Inclusion Officer at Leicester Tigers, followed by two years as Community Manager at Saracens, where sport was used as a transformational force beyond the pitch.

That impact went global when Mr Ayres delivered Premiership Rugby programmes in Brazil, working in favelas to help young people move away from gangs and crime through the structure, values and aspiration sport provides.

And he leads by example. As an athlete, Mr Ayres competed at an outstanding level National League rugby, National 2 cricket, and a national bronze medal in badminton bringing genuine multi-sport insight to his coaching.

At Kingshott, Mr Ayres doesn’t just teach PE or coach teams he inspires ambition, builds character, and sets standards rooted in the very best of elite sport.
